1 1/8 inch Check Valve, Marine Boat Bilge Pump Hose in-line one way, Non Return

I bought a 87’ aluminum v-hull boat last Spring that needed a good amount of remodeling. I don’t think it originally came with a bilge pump, but someone had installed one at some point, and the tubing was absent. I have to assume that they ran it up and over the edge. I wanted a cleaner look, but the only place I could drill and put an outgoing port was below the waterline near the live well intake.I reasoned that if I ran the tubing in a loopty loop, that went above the waterline, I wouldn’t need to worry about water pouring in. And I was correct. But it still didn’t feel 100% comfortable with that set up, and decided to order this. After testing it with a sump pump, it proved to stop any water from coming thru, and is has been installed for several months and I’ve had zero issues with any water coming in. In fact, I could see the bubble line when snorkeling. Definitely worth the piece of mind.My only complaint is the clamps. They were tight on the black reinforced tubing I used that they sell for this purpose here on Amazon. I’d be prepared to have some clamps that are a bit bigger when getting ready to install. Not a big enough deal in my book to complain about it; just a heads up oughta do. Other than that, perfect. [...]
